The central area of Camp de Tarragona includes 22 municipalities, covering a total surface area of 41,857 hectares (418.57 km²) and a population of 390,821 inhabitants (as of 2009). The plan sets forth a proposal for the spatial organization of open spaces, mobility infrastructures, and urban settlements, based on a previously conducted analysis and diagnosis.
